The Lion of Asia, Singapore (or Lions abode) is truly defying its name. It is famous for its corruption less governance. Its life is very much that of Western nature.

But it still holds with it the Asian, and more importantly an Indian nature. There are lot of migrant Indians living in Singapore and adding to that there are Tamil speaking population.

Unity in Diversity

India is famous for its unity in diversity.

It is a place where diverse people such as diverse geographical location, diverse beliefs, diverse languages, diverse cultures intermingle and preach a single Indian Union.

This photo made me remind me that thoughts. Seen in this picture is a small temple and a small church built in proximity of each other. People of either beliefs seems to co-exist here.

Man is a social animal, so is other animals. But we are masters of building durable architectural wonders that no other animals are capable of doing.

But the durability comes at a price which is not affordable to most. Then the alternative is to build nest-like houses and live in them. The rich lives adorningly in the expense of the poor.

Greenhouse

This house reminds me of my childhood, where I built castles in sand, where I played with my friends, where I was beaten up by mom, where I lived like a normal boy. This picture relishes my memory after a long gap of 18 years.

The house name is MINI PARADISE, really it was one for me. Let long live my memories.
